Grayson Osborne at ABA 2005 EAHB SIG activities at ABAI 2008 conference We would like to encourage everyone to attend several special SIG events. The first is the 2008 Distinguished Career Award symposium Monday, May 26 at 11:30 am in Metra Room, Blackstone Hotel. The SIG is very excited to present its 2008 Distinguished Career award to Dr. Charles Catania. Dr. Catania will present a paper titled, ”The Origins and Consequences of Fictional Verbal Entities.” Second, the SIG is sponsoring a symposium titled, “The Experimental Analysis of Human Social Behavior: Symposium in Honor of David R. Schmitt.” The symposium, which is designed to honor the work of Dr. Schmitt, the 2007 recipient of the Distinguished Career Award who was unable to attend ABAI last year, includes four papers by researchers studying human social behavior. The symposium will be Monday May 26, 3:30 pm, EI Room, Blackstone Hotel.
New officers elected at the ABA 2007 Business meeting At the 2007 EAHB-SIG Business meeting Manish Vaidya was elected as the new Student Paper Coordinator and Christy Alligood was elected as the new Treasurer. We thank them both for volunteering! Thanks also to Eric Jacobs and Jennifer O'Donnell for there much appreciated service in those roles these past years. EAHB-SIG Update ISSN number for the EAHB Bulletin The Experimental Analysis of Human Behavior Bulletin now has an ISSN number! (ISNN: 1938-7237). It will now be shown on the top of the electronic volume page. EAHB-SIG Business Meeting at ABA (submitted by Cindy Pietras & Eric Jacobs, 05/17/06) This year's annual EAHB-SIG business meeting will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2006, at the ABA convention in Atlanta. The meeting will take place at 7:00 pm in University Room. This year's agenda will include: 1. The Student Paper Competition This year's meeting will be chaired by Eric Jacobs and Cindy Pietras Please come join us! Brady at the 2006 ABA Convention in Chicago on Sunday, May 28, 4:30 Centennial Ballroom 1. Dr. Steven Hursh from UMMS Shriver Center will introduce him.
